How to brew
For one 200 ml cup. Taste it before you add anything.
- Bring the water to the boil.Pour as soon as the water stops bubbling.
- Add 1 heaped teaspoon.For each 200 ml cup.
- Cover and steep 5 minutes.The same spoonful gives a lighter second cup.
- Strain and sip.Sip it warm, not scalding. A small spoon of honey goes well with it if you like.

Throat Comfort is a herbal infusion from Swachh Tea, made with tulsi, peppermint, dry paan leaves, ginger flakes, licorice, cinnamon, black pepper, turmeric, lemon peel, cloves, cardamom, dried chamomile and dried hibiscus. Warm, peppery and lightly sweet, with tulsi, mint and clove. Brew it with water just off the boil for 5 minutes. A 100 g pack makes about 50 cups, about ₹7.40 a cup.
