Ordering and payment
How can I pay?
Pay online by UPI, card, net banking or wallet through Razorpay, or choose cash on delivery.
Is cash on delivery available?
Yes, across India. A small cash on delivery fee applies and is shown at checkout before you place the order. We call or WhatsApp you to confirm every cash on delivery order, and it ships once you confirm.
Do you have a discount for first orders?
Yes. Enter your WhatsApp number on our homepage to unlock 10% off your first order.
Can I cancel or change my order?
We dispatch most orders within 24 hours, so prepaid orders can't be cancelled once placed. If you've entered a wrong address or phone number, message us on WhatsApp straight away and we'll fix it if the parcel hasn't left.
Shipping and delivery
Do you charge for shipping?
No. Shipping is free on every order across India, with no minimum.
How long does delivery take?
Orders leave Siliguri, usually within 24 hours, and most arrive 3 to 7 days after dispatch.
How do I track my order?
Once your order ships, we send a tracking link by email and SMS. See Track your order for other ways to check.
Returns and refunds
What if my order is damaged, wrong or doesn't arrive?
We'll replace it or refund you in full. Message us within 48 hours of delivery with your order number and photos of the box and pack. The full rules are in our Refund policy.
Can I return an opened pack?
No. Tea is a food product, so we can't take back opened packs or packs that arrive in good condition.

Who makes Swachh Tea?
Swachh Tea is the consumer brand of Palak Tea Co., our family's tea business in Siliguri, West Bengal. We've been buying, broking and blending tea for 35+ years, and started Swachh Tea in 2020 to sell the same teas directly to homes. We're FSSAI licensed (Lic. No. 12821006000071) and ISO 9001:2015 certified.
What is CTC tea?
CTC stands for crush, tear, curl, the process that turns tea leaves into small, even granules. They brew fast and give a strong, full-bodied cup, which is why CTC is the tea behind most Indian milk chai. Whole-leaf tea suits people who drink their tea without milk.
How do I make a proper cup of chai?
For one cup: boil 75 ml of water, add 2.5 g of tea (about a level teaspoon) and simmer for two minutes. Add 75 ml of milk and simmer two minutes more, then add sugar and masala in the last minute, strain and pour.
How many cups does a pack make?
A 250 g pack of chai makes about 100 cups at 2.5 g a cup. A 100 g pack of leaf tea makes about 50 cups.
Do your teas contain caffeine?
Yes. All our chai, black, green and white teas come from the tea plant and contain caffeine. The pure flower teas (chamomile, lavender, blue pea and hibiscus) contain no tea leaf and are naturally caffeine-free.
How should I store my tea?
Keep the pack sealed in a cool, dry cupboard, away from sunlight and strong smells. Every pouch carries its packing date.
